
Apply for PhD scholar will further develop regional models of climate-ecosystem developed to simulate the Earth system feedback associated with the dynamics of peatlands, permafrost, and emissions of greenhouse gases carbon dioxide and methane. Model experiments will investigate the potential to process this and other feedback from the Arctic system to strengthen or weaken the regional and global climate change. Apply for PhD Candidates should have an Honours degree or Master's degree in Physical Geography and Ecosystem Analysis, Environment, Meteorology or related subjects relevant to the research. Knowledge and interest in computer programming is required. Knowledge of FORTRAN, C or C + + and previous experience working with computer models of the environment is a benefit. Basic Assessment Details:
Apply for PhD scholarships are granted for a maximum of 12 months full time and then will turn into a position as a PhD. Regulations for the Ph.D. scholarships will be found in SFS 1998:81 regulations (in Swedish). sholarship can only be assigned to people who qualify for graduate study. Special emphasis should be placed for entrance to the ability of applicants to successfully complete postgraduate studies, as demonstrated by academic qualifications and services.Apply for PhD Apart from graduate education, the successful applicant may be assigned other duties in undergraduate teaching, research and administrative work in accordance with special regulations.
